Remember these words 'Neighbours Envy Owners Pride' you must have heard this while watching advertizement of Onida Tv. I thought of using this for my article on friends. A common subject and of course an easy one. Well this word friend is a very significant word and it means world or rather I can say it means everything to a major population of the world.
And being a part of the world means a lot to me. Since my childhood friends have been very important to me. When I started my school I made school friends, then when I moved to high school the group changed and as I moved to college I made some new friends. Then during my post graduation I stayed with another group of friends for two years and that was so much of fun, when we use to sit and chat for the whole night and then sleep in the morning.
Being with friends have always been fun.But it was friends who left me when I needed them most and it was friends who have hurt me the most. Still friends mean the world to me.I have been very fascinated with online friends and honestly I have made some good friends also, recently I came to know about facebook another website to know people. And I registered myself and made some new friends, to my surprise even though some people are far away they share similar tastes, they share similar ideas, they have the same dreams that we have in our place.
Sometimes even if you have some good friends you have people around you who are jealous and that too if she is a girl then you might land up making enemies, isn't that funny. Well I have been using orkut another website for social networking where honestly I found my friends with whom I can keep in touch as they are far away, such websites keep you hooked up. Well atleast it keeps me busy nowadays as I have been working on my blogs and on these social networking sites simultaneouly. Its good to know more people across the world and know more about their culture their thoughts, ideas etc. and you don't know sometimes you make great friends.
If I ask myself I have done great deal for my friends and got the same in return but always kept wondering when will I have a true friend. There have been many friends who came in different phases of my life and stayed for some time, some left and some are still there, but as they say everybody has their own personal life, friends drifted apart from me leaving me behind. I sometimes think when my friends needed me I was always there I did whatever I can in my range but when I needed my freinds they were not there for me. And later when they came back by mistake also they blamed me for the gap over the years. What an irony of life it is that how much ever you do you still get to hear for something what you were never responsible for and this happens specially when you give too much of importance to any relationship.
